A study of the Effect of Psoraleae Fructus Aqua-acupuncture on the Adrenocortical Isufficiency in Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was carried out to investigate experimently the effect of aqua-acupuncture of Psoraleae Fructus in rats with acute adrenocortical insufficiency.
The obtained results were as follows:
1. The levels of serum cortisol were remarkably increased comparing with those control group in case of sin-su group.
2. The concentrations of serum glucose were remarkably increased comparing with those control group in case of sin-su group.
3. The concentrations of serum total protein were remarkably decreased comparing with those control group in case of sin-su group.
4. The counts of blood eosinophils were remarkably decreased comparing with those control group in case of sin-su group.
5. The adrenal weight were significantly increased comparing with those control group in case of sin-su group.
